The Ravenna native competed in World Superbikes from 1988 to 1992 before Tardozzi forged an esteemed relationship with Ducati in a management role. He oversaw multiple WSBK titles with the Borgo Panigale brand, including four with Carl Fogarty, before a four-year stint overseeing BMW’s World Superbike programme.
