Davide Tardozzi admits Marc Marquez is still not at ‘100%’ despite Hungarian Grand Prix win
Marquez has moved 72 points behind Marco Bezzecchi after the top three in the standings were taken out at turn one. It has given him a great chance of fighting for the title, but Tardozzi is playing things down.
Speaking to Suzi Perry on TNT Sports 2, the Ducati team manager admitted that Aprilia still pose a strong threat and would have been at the front had both riders not crashed.

He also said that Marquez is still not 100% fit. Marquez knows he is far from his best through the right-hand corners, and likely never will regain that level of competition.
Tardozzi said: “Listen, Suzi, the opponents are very strong. They are leading the championship with two riders that are very fast. Today they’ve been very unlucky.
WHAT A BATTLE! 😍 How far is Pedro Acosta off Marc Marquez in terms of talent?
“So we are considering today an incredible race from Marc, but we know that they wasn’t there and that they could have had the possibility to be on the podium.
“So we must put the foot on the ground, we still have 15 races to go. So, still long, and the main [thing is] still having Marc back 100%, and he’s not. He won, but he’s not.”
