Gino Borsoi refused to rule out the possibility of Jack Miller staying with Pramac and Yamaha, but admitted they haven’t made a decision about him yet.
With reports coming out last week that Yamaha had finalised a move for Izan Guevara, there were some big questions surrounding the future of Jack Miller.
With Guevara reportedly having an automatic MotoGP clause, there was a belief that Yamaha had no choice but to replace Miller heading into 2027.
Will Jack Miller still be a MotoGP rider in 2027?
As a result, Miller’s future with Yamaha, and to a larger extent, in MotoGP came into question, with many concerned that the Australian rider wouldn’t get a seat next year.
But even with the reported move for Guevara, Yamaha admittedly haven’t decided what they’re going to do with Miller.

Gino Borsoi claims Pramac haven’t ‘decided’ what they will do about Jack Miller in 2027
Speaking in an interview with Moto.it, a very cautious Pramac chief Gino Borsoi refused to give a definitive answer on Jack Miller’s future with Yamaha.
He admitted that Yamaha value Miller greatly, relying on his veteran experience and technical knowledge to make improvements on their bikes.
“We haven’t decided anything yet. Jack is doing an excellent job, he’s an asset to the team, Yamaha relies heavily on him for technical input. Before making a decision, we want to wait and see what happens.”
It appears Yamaha are playing coy when it comes to Miller’s future with the team, with Borsoi saying they are waiting to see what happens this season before making a decision.
They might not have the luxury of time, as Miller warned Yamaha he is speaking to other teams in and out of MotoGP. Waiting too long could result in them losing Miller to another outfit.

Does Jack Miller still have the talent to fight further up the grid?
Jack Miller could make Yamaha regret losing him in 2027
Despite an unfortunate penalty at the Catalan Grand Prix, Miller had one of his best performances this season in Barcelona.
While Miller’s elite sportsmanship garnered applause, there is no denying that the Australian rider showed flashes of his best last weekend.
Despite this, Pramac and Yamaha have seemingly prioritised the future of Toprak Razgatlioglu over his veteran teammate, with them calling upon Miller to participate at the Suzuka Eight Hours later this summer as a potential incentive.
If Miller manages to turn his season around and string together some very strong performances in the latter half of the year, some team is bound to take notice and give him a seat for 2027.
This is how Miller could get a measure of revenge on Yamaha, by showing them his value before snubbing them to join another team.
