Jack Miller has confirmed he is ‘talking with other people’ as he continues to wait for news on his Yamaha future.

Miller, 31, joined Yamaha’s satellite team, Prima Pramac Racing, ahead of the 2025 campaign after being replaced at KTM by Pedro Acosta.

The Australian was seen as a key figure for Yamaha due to his experience with the V4 engines; however, his results on the track have been below par.

Currently, Miller is at the bottom of the MotoGP standings, having only scored two points from the opening six rounds.

Looking ahead, the 31-year-old’s future remains uncertain. It was previously reported that Yamaha were looking to replace Miller with Izan Guevara.

Jack Miller confirms talks with ‘other people’ amid uncertainties over Yamaha future

Speaking last weekend in Barcelona, Miller revealed that he has held talks with other people as he continues to wait for news on his future.

The Australian admitted that he currently has no clue what his future holds, but is adamant about what he can offer on board a motorcycle.

As per Fox News, when asked if he knew anything about his future, Miller said: “In Yamaha, no.

“But [I’m] obviously talking with other people. I know the value I bring to a project, I know what I’m capable of doing on a motorcycle, so if that’s what [Yamaha] want to do, that’s not my decision to make.

“I’ve put my best foot forward this year, trying to do the maximum that I can throughout testing until now. I’ll continue to do so until the end; wherever that goes will be well and truly out of my hands. I’ll do what I can do on a motorcycle.”

Jack Miller wants to continue racing amid the possibility of being a test rider

With his future up in the air, it has been mooted that Miller could become a test rider, joining the likes of Dani Pedrosa, Alex Espargaro and Pol Espargaro.

However, when quizzed on the possibility, Miller said he is not focusing on that as he looks to continue his racing career.

Miller added: “I’m not focusing on that. I’m just trying to do better, ride better, training harder than ever.

“I’m sick and tired of being at the back, it’s really driving me insane. I’m putting everything I have into this, and trying to give the maximum back to Yamaha and take the maximum out of it for myself.

“I want to race. I don’t mind the testing side of things, but I do that for the light at the end of the tunnel, which is going racing. At the end of the day, I enjoy racing motorcycles.”
