Jack Miller is feeling ‘down in the dumps’ in the MotoGP paddock as his future in the sport looks incredibly bleak.
The Australian rider is facing increasing pressure to save his MotoGP career for 2027. With his contract expiring at the end of 2026, Pramac could now be looking to move him on.
Izan Guevara is heavily linked with Pramac next season and could be Toprak Razgatlioglu’s teammate. Miller is desperately trying to keep his seat, but his situation is looking miserable.

Jack Miller is ‘down in the dumps’ as no teams are interested in him for 2027
Miller has already been told he’s ‘surplus to requirements’ at Yamaha in 2027. Guevara is looking in a strong position to succeed him next season, and the chances of the Aussie staying in the premier class are not looking good.
Miller has ‘no offers’ for 2027, and his mood in the paddock says it all. MotoGP commentator Gavin Emmett explained the Pramac rider was ‘down in the dumps’ at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Does Jack Miller still have the talent to fight further up the grid?
He said on TNT Sports 2: “I’ve spoken to him a lot this weekend, he’s a bit down in the dumps anyway. Feels he’s not being listened to at all, he says no one’s actually talking to me at the moment, pretty much.
“And so, he’s out there, scrapping for his career. I mean, how is he fighting Ai Ogura?” Miller would go on to finish P8 at Balaton Park, his best result of 2026.

What are Jack Miller’s options for 2027?
Miller admitted he is speaking to other teams for 2027, putting pressure on Pramac to make a decision on their rider line-up.
The truth is that he has very limited options on the table for next season, and time is running out for Miller to convince teams to take him on board.
Will Jack Miller still be a MotoGP rider in 2027?
Miller is an option for Trackhouse in 2027, but he is fighting multiple riders for the seat. The reality could well be that, if he does lose his spot at Pramac, it will spell the end of his MotoGP career.
If that is the case, Miller could go to World Superbikes. Nicolo Bulega is set to join VR46 in 2027, opening a seat at Ducati, where the Aussie still has a great relationship.
