Jack Miller is assessing his options for 2026 as he battles to stay on the MotoGP grid with Pramac Yamaha.
The Tuscany-based team have signed defending World Superbikes champion Toprak Razgatlioglu for 2026. The Turkish rider will finally make the move across to MotoGP, but it leaves Pramac with three riders on their books.
Miller and teammate Miguel Oliveira are at risk of losing their seats, as Pramac will decide before the summer break who will stay for 2026. The former has the least security, as Miller is out of contract in 2025.
While he has struggled for consistent results, sitting 18th in the standings with 33 points, the Aussie’s experience has proved highly valuable on the YZR-M1. Yamaha have talked up Miller’s efforts behind the scenes in helping them develop the new V4 engine.
The 30-year-old’s expertise has given him several alternatives to consider for 2026. Yamaha could promote Miller to the factory team and replace Alex Rins, or he could drop out of MotoGP and pursue another avenue.

Luigi Dall’Igna ‘likes’ Jack Miller as Ducati could sign him in World Superbikes
Miller has been linked with a move to World Superbikes in recent weeks. Honda are said to be interested in the Aussie’s services, with reports suggesting that they have offered a three-year deal.
Honda want to sign Cal Crutchlow as their manager for the WSBK project; the Brit could attract Miller to follow him, given the pair’s close relationship. Michelin offers another big incentive as they will join the category in 2027, being a tyre that the Aussie is very familiar with.
But it is not just Honda that could be an option for Miller in WSBK. In a report from GPOne, Ducati are another team for the Pramac rider to consider, with Alvaro Bautista leaving the Borgo Panigale outfit in 2025.
Luigi Dall’Igna ‘courted’ Miller for a seat in WSBK in 2024 after he departed from KTM, but he opted to stay in MotoGP with Pramac. Ducati ‘like’ the 30-year-old and could make a move for him if he ends up missing out on a new contract in the premier class.

Jack Miller looks to be the favourite to stay at Pramac Yamaha in 2026
As Pramac’s final decision edges closer, it seems that their current crop of riders are the only ones in the race for a contract in 2026. Moto2 rider Manu Gonzalez is not an option, with Gino Borsoi stating that he is not yet fit for the team.
Borsoi apologised to Miller and Oliveira as he expressed how great a shame it was to see one of them leave the team. As these stand, there is a clear favourite to become Razgatlioglu’s teammate.
Pramac would sign Miller ‘right now’ if the decision had to be made, says MotoGP commentator Matt Birt. The Aussie has significantly outperformed his teammate, with Oliveira not currently meeting his performance clause.
Despite having a two-year factory contract, the Portuguese rider could be moved on by Yamaha if his results do not improve. Oliveira has only scored six points in 2025, having missed four races through injury after a crash in Argentina.
