Jack Miller just received another big incentive to accept Honda’s World Superbikes offer if he loses Pramac seat

Jack Miller finds himself fighting for his future in MotoGP once again in 2025. Pramac Yamaha have confirmed the signing of Toprak Razgatlioglu for 2026.

The defending World Superbikes champion will make his long-awaited move to MotoGP in 2026. Razgatlioglu had been linked with Honda, but Japanese rivals Yamaha have won the race, signing him to their satellite team Pramac.

This spells bad news for Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira, with one of them set to lose their seat at the end of the 2025 season. Pramac will decide on their rider line-up over the summer, but things do not look good for Miller, on paper anyway.

Pramac ‘saved’ Miller’s MotoGP career by giving him a contract in 2025 after his exit from KTM. With his deal up at the end of the year, the Aussie is fighting to stay on the grid for 2026, but he is not shy of offers elsewhere.

Jack Miller receives big incentive to take Honda’s WSBK deal with Michelin joining the sport

Miller has been linked with a move to World Superbikes, with Honda reportedly tabling a three-year contract for the 30-year-old. Ironically, Razgatlioglu was being touted to join the Japanese manufacturer in WSBK next year before joining their MotoGP team in 2027, but Yamaha got a deal done first.

Honda have clearly put a lucrative offer for Miller on the table if Pramac decide on another rider for 2026. Honda want to bring in Cal Crutchlow as their team manager; the duo have a great relationship and would give more incentive for the Aussie to do a straight swap with Razgatlioglu.

On Tuesday, Miller received another big pull factor to join WSBK, as Michelin will become the category’s tyre supplier come 2027. Pirelli will move away from the series that season to join MotoGP, effectively doing a straight swap.

While he would have to race with Pirelli tyres in 2026 if he took Honda’s offer, Miller is well accustomed to Michelin rubber. It would make the transition from MotoGP to WSBK more seamless, and with Crutchlow possibly joining, it might be an offer that is too hard to refuse.

How Jack Miller can keep his seat at Pramac Yamaha in MotoGP in 2026

Miller will be assessing his options over the summer break as he awaits Pramac’s decision. The Aussie would surely merit a contract extension, given his performances in 2025 and his technical feedback being invaluable to Yamaha.

Miller is currently outperforming teammate Oliveira and factory Yamaha rider Alex Rins, with the 30-year-old and Fabio Quartararo being the only riders at the manufacturer to finish in the top five this season.

Oliveira is not meeting a performance clause in his contract that could see him be dropped by Pramac before his deal expires in 2026. The Portuguese rider has struggled with injury and has only scored three points thus far.

Miller must beat Oliveira and ensure that he is the lowest-ranked Yamaha rider at the end of the season. Only time will tell if Pramac will retain the Aussie for 2026, but Honda could offer a fresh challenge if his MotoGP career comes to an end.
