Pramac will welcome World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu to their line-up in the 2026 MotoGP season.

Yamaha beat Honda to a deal for the Turkish rider, with Razgatlioglu’s arrival in MotoGP causing great excitement around the paddock. But it has put Pramac in an uncomfortable situation for 2026.

Riders Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira are now at risk of losing their seats. Pramac will decide their 2026 line-up before the summer break, giving them the next three rounds to produce strong results and present their case to stay on the grid.

Miller looks like a rider under pressure from Razgatlioglu from a behind-the-scenes clip inside his garage. Interestingly, teammate Oliveira has a surprise verdict on Razgatlioglu, stating his arrival is good for MotoGP, despite the prospect of him taking his seat.

While he does have a two-year contract, Oliveira has a performance clause; the terms of which he is not currently meeting. With Pramac sat bottom of the teams’ championship, they have a difficult decision to make for 2026.

Gino Borsoi apologises to Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira as one is set to leave Pramac

Rumours have been rife about who could race for Pramac in 2026, with the MotoGP rider market giving them multiple options outside their current crop of talents.

Enea Bastianini has been linked with the team, as he is reportedly looking for a way out of KTM. Pramac could rival Aprilia for Manu Gonzalez, after the Moto2 champion leader impressed with Trackhouse during the test at Aragon.

But Yamaha chief Gino Borsoi seems to hint that only Miller and Oliveira are in contention for the seat. Speaking with Sky Sport Italy, he apologised to the pair that ‘one of the two’ would have to make way for Razgatlioglu.

“Toprak is a great talent, he has a basis to be competitive and demonstrate that the transition from SBK to MotoGP is still possible. There are the ingredients to do something important,” he said.

“We will give them maximum support to ensure that they demonstrate that they deserve the remaining place. I am sorry to part ways with one of the two, they are both great people.”

Yamaha’s rider line-up could look very different in 2026

Miller is the favourite to stay at Pramac for 2026, as he has considerably outperformed his teammate in 2025. Oliveira says injuries are to blame for his poor performances, having missed four races after a collision with Fermin Aldeguer in Argentina.

But if the Aussie does end up missing out on a seat at the Tuscany-based outfit, he does have other options available. Miller could replace Alex Rins at the factory Yamaha team and partner with Fabio Quartararo.

Pramac’s latest signing gives Yamaha a highly competitive line-up for 2026. Razgatlioglu has secured a Quartararo clause that entitles him to equal machinery with the 2021 MotoGP champion.

Despite securing these terms, Paolo Pavesio has ruled out a promotion to the factory team. Pramac are practically a factory outfit, as they have identical bikes to that of Yamaha.
