Toprak Razgatlioglu expects Pramac teammate Jack Miller to stay in MotoGP for the 2027 season

Toprak Razgatlioglu has backed Pramac teammate Jack Miller to keep his place on the MotoGP grid for the 2027 season. Miller’s contract is up at the end of the year.

The Australian has become accustomed to uncertainty in recent years. After losing his KTM seat in 2024, he secured the last place on the 2025 grid with Pramac.

The Yamaha satellite squad only gave him a one-year deal and their move for Razgatlioglu left Miller battling teammate Miguel Oliveira. They ultimately activated a break clause in Oliveira’s deal, with Miller’s contract extension announced in September.

Will Jack Miller still be a MotoGP rider in 2027?

Toprak Razgatlioglu cools Jack Miller to World Superbikes talk

Yamaha are expected to field a brand-new factory line-up in 2027. Fabio Quartararo is thought to be joining Honda, while Alex Rins has already confirmed that his contract won’t be renewed.

Rather than calling up Razgatlioglu, Yamaha have lined up Aprilia’s Jorge Martin and Trackhouse rider Ai Ogura. The three-time World Superbikes champion, already under contract for 2027, will stay at Pramac.

Moto2 talents Izan Guevara and Senna Agius have been heavily linked with the Pramac seat currently held by Miller. Guevara is already on Yamaha’s books, while Agius could potentially replace his fellow countryman.

Neil Hodgson would promote Toprak Razgatlioglu to Yamaha over signing Ai Ogura for the factory team – Are they making a mistake?

In an interview with Moto IT, Razgatlioglu was asked whether Miller would be ‘perfect’ for World Superbikes. His preference would be for Pramac to retain their existing line-up.

“I don’t know,” he said. “He’s a very good guy, I’m very happy to have him as a teammate. He’s a real rider and a real person. I don’t know, I think he’ll stay in MotoGP.”

Could Jack Miller replace Nicolo Bulega at Ducati?

Miller has been heavily linked with Ducati’s World Superbikes team, having previously raced for Luigi Dall’Igna in MotoGP.

Runaway championship leader Nicolo Bulega could follow Razgatlioglu to Grand Prix racing, which would create a vacancy, though the race for that seat would be intensely competitive.

Oliveira effectively swapped places with Razgatlioglu at the end of last year, slotting into the BMW WSBK squad.

A number of other MotoGP veterans, including Franco Morbidelli and Brad Binder, have also been linked with the sister championship amid a potential generational shift.
