Jack Miller needs to find improvements in the 2026 MotoGP season after a difficult first year at Pramac in 2025.
The Australian rider finished 17th in the standings last year, with multiple crashes and inconsistent results costing him. Miller’s first season at Pramac did not go to plan, even by Paolo Campinoti’s admission.
What do you expect from Jack Miller at Pramac in 2026?
Nevertheless, he did enough to secure a contract in 2026, but the pressure is on again to stay in MotoGP beyond this season. Partnering with WSBK star Toprak Razgatlioglu, Miller is in for a tough test.
The Yamaha riders have had to get accustomed to the V4 bike, which Miller played a key role in developing. He is looking to have a strong season, and Pramac boss Gino Borsoi has seen the effort he has put in.

Gino Borsoi predicts Jack Miller ‘2.0’ in 2026 after convincing him to improve physically and mentally
Miller wants to beat Fabio Quartararo and be Yamaha’s top rider in 2026. But that will not be achieved without hard work and dedication, and Pramac have definitely seen that over the winter.
Speaking to Moto. It, team boss Borsoi explained how he ‘convinced’ Miller to work on improving his physical and mental state. He believes that the 31-year-old will be a better version of himself in 2026.
“I think Miller will be better this year than in previous years because this winter we managed to do something more and work mentally and physically, something he wasn’t used to doing,” said Borsoi.
“I convinced him, and he’s been working on it this winter. We’ve been in touch, he’s sent me photos, he’s sent me videos. I’d say a Miller 2.0 will arrive in Sepang, I’m pretty sure of that.
“We’ve worked on everything, in general, from every angle,” he added. “I think this is a great opportunity for him. It’s a bike he’s obviously unfamiliar with, but he knows the V4, he knows the V4 engine, and he has experience with this type of bike.
“He can help us, he’ll be able to lend us a hand, and he’s the one who, in my opinion, could also be the most competitive right from the start with this mental and physical work. I think we’ll see another Miller, but obviously time will tell.”

Is Jack Miller considering retirement from MotoGP?
Miller’s ‘goal’ is to secure a new Pramac contract for the 2027 season. The Aussie will be up against it in 2026, having to adapt to the V4 and fight against a competitive teammate.
But Miller hopes to sign a 2027 contract ‘soon’. As the new season approaches, many riders and teams will want to have things set in stone early on.
However, amidst it all, Miller ‘can’t help’ but think about retiring from racing. He had been linked with World Superbikes in 2026 before signing a new deal with Pramac.
A return to WSBK could be on the cards if he does not secure another contract in MotoGP. But whether he gets back onto another motorcycle beyond 2026 is unclear at this stage.
