Jack Miller heads into his second season as part of the Yamaha family after returning to Pramac in 2025.
The Australian rider spent three years with the Tuscany-based team between 2018 and 2020, when they were part of Ducati’s operation. Miller’s nine podiums with Pramac earned him a move to the factory Ducati team in 2021.
What do you make of the first 2026 livery?
By 2025, both parties came to Yamaha in very different situations. Pramac had just become the first independent team to win the riders’ championship with Jorge Martin, while Miller’s career was given a lifeline after a torrid spell at KTM.
Miller’s experience and feedback proved vital for Yamaha as they looked to develop the M1 and the V4 project, which will be introduced in 2026. But his on-track results left something to be desired.

Paolo Campinoti says Jack Miller has not shown his ‘real potential’ since returning to Pramac
The Aussie finished 17th in the standings with 79 points. Multiple crashes and inconsistent results ultimately cost him, but Miller did enough to earn a 2026 contract over Miguel Oliveira.
Now partnered with Toprak Razgatlioglu, the 30-year-old is facing pressure to keep his seat. Miller is entering his ‘last season in MotoGP’, but Paolo Campinoti is hopeful that he will show his ‘real potential’ in 2026.
What do you expect from Jack Miller at Pramac in 2026?
The Pramac team principal said on stage at the team’s launch of their bike in Siena, Italy: “There is Jack, for us, he’s part of the family.
“He has been with us many years. He’s a great guy, he’s a very strong talent. Unfortunately, he didn’t show yet his real potential and I hope that soon he can show what really he can do.
“On the other hand, we are welcoming Toprak. For sure, it’s the first year in MotoGP, but in Superbikes he has proven that he’s by far the best driver in the grid. So I’m sure that he would be in the same performance model.”

Paolo Pavesio issues ‘special’ verdict on Jack Miller ahead of 2026
Pramac have reiterated how important the Aussie will be to the team in terms of development. In fact, it is even said that Miller’s 2026 season will be a write-off, as he will be more focused on improving the V4 than on results.
Yamaha managing director Paolo Pavesio emphasised this at Pramac’s launch, saying that Miller is a ‘special’ talent and will be ‘very instrumental’ to the project.
He said: “It’s super important. Of course, it was one of the nice things of last year, to get to know [on a] personal level, Jack.
Where do you think Jack Miller will be racing in 2027?
“Because he’s a fast rider and this is known, but he’s also, I think, a special person, which is also sharing this strong team spirit which we feel.
“So I’m really looking forward to see him in the second year on a completely new bike. The experience he has on already V4 configuration will be very instrumental to the project.
“I mean, [I’ve been] in motorsport [for] many years now, I have seen rarely a rider who is also such a very special teammate, so I’m really looking forward to start again, working with Jack.”
