It’s approaching one month since Pramac finally announced half of their 2026 MotoGP line-up by signing the talented Toprak Razgatlioglu.
Now they must decide whether they want to retain either of their two current MotoGP riders beyond the end of the season.
Jack Miller has toiled away for much of the season, assisting Yamaha with the development of their current M1 bike.
While Miguel Oliveira hasn’t been quite as fortunate, missing nearly half of his Pramac season through an injury he suffered in Argentina.
Fabio Quartararo could play a key role in Miller’s future and is likely to be consulted over the signing. The Japanese manufacturer listens to him, and his good relationship with the Aussie may indicate the outcome.
After a new revelation, Pramac don’t agree with Yamaha’s plan, which could leave Miller off the grid. They have an interest in Moto2’s Diogo Moreira, who has shone in 2025.

Fabio Di Giannantonio tells Jack Miller to be ‘fast’ for himself to save his Pramac MotoGP seat
Miller has told Yamaha not to forget one thing about him after he has spent a lot of time this season helping them to develop their bike.
He may be part of the reason why Quartararo has been able to earn pole position an astonishing four times in 2025.
One rival who has had to face the music about his future before is Fabio Di Giannantonio, who managed to save his career in the second half of 2023 with a fantastic performance.
Speaking to SPEEDWEEK, the Italian gave both Miller and his teammate Oliveira some advice about what to do if they want to save their seats.
“You have to be fast for yourself, so Jack or Miguel have to be fast for themselves first and foremost,” he said. “And if you can do that, the contract will come naturally.”
How has Jack Miller performed during the 2025 MotoGP season?
While Miller does have two top-eight finishes to his name this season, the rest of his campaign has been marred by frustration.
The 30-year-old has suffered four retirements in 10 races, and one of them in particular was gutting for him and his team.
At the French Grand Prix, they were ahead of eventual race winner Johann Zarco in wet conditions before making a mistake.
The crash ended his hopes of his and Yamaha’s first win since 2022. Since then, they haven’t really had an opportunity to compete at the front.
