Massimo Rivola has spoken about Marc Marquez again amid Aprilia’s continued dominance in 2026.
Over the weekend, Aprilia produced yet another impressive display at the Italian Grand Prix, held around the Mugello Circuit.
Marco Bezzecchi won the Grand Prix, finishing ahead of Aprilia teammate Jorge Martin and Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia.
As a result, Bezzecchi now has a 17-point lead over Martin at the top of the standings, with Aprilia leading Trackhouse by 150 points.

Massimo Rivola keeps saying the same thing about Marc Marquez
Speaking after the Italian Grand Prix, Aprilia team boss Rivola again spoke about his desire to see Marquez back to his best.
The Italian labelled the seven-time world champion as an ‘incentive’ for Aprilia to ’take risks’.
Last month, it was revealed that Rivola wants to see Marquez back to his best as soon as possible, and he repeated those comments again in Mugello.
As reported by Spanish news outlet Marca, Rivola said: “I reiterate that I can’t wait for Marc Márquez to be at 100% because it’s an incentive for us to take risks and try to beat him because he’s the strongest rider there is.
“Regarding last year, simply put, ‘Bez’ was going too fast compared to the rider in front and didn’t judge the gap; it can happen.”

Following Bezzecchi’s win at Mugello, Rivola compared the Aprilia star to men’s tennis world number one and fellow Italian, Jannik Sinner.
Rivola stated that just like Sinner, Bezzecchi manages to produce his best when the pressure is on.
Rivola added: “What I like most about Marco is his ability to bring out the best in himself precisely when the pressure increases. He’s almost an anomalous Italian, perhaps like Sinner.
“The higher the expectations, the better he manages to give his all. Especially after having achieved pole position, the pressure had inevitably increased, yet he was perfect.
“The confirmation is that we’re competitive practically everywhere. We have two strong drivers on every circuit, each with their own characteristics and preferences.
“We can look ahead with confidence, but without losing our humility. What makes me most proud is that we’re often not the fastest on Friday, but we manage to improve throughout the weekend.”
Aprilia will look to continue their dominance when the season continues this weekend with the Hungarian Grand Prix.
