Marco Bezzecchi has got back to winning ways as he clinches victory on home soil at the Italian Grand Prix.
He converted pole position to beat Jorge Martin in an Aprilia one-two finish. Francesco Bagnaia locked out the podium, narrowly beating Ai Ogura for P3.

Trackhouse’s Raul Fernandez claimed his first Sprint win in MotoGP on Saturday and would have been looking to win the Italian Grand Prix, with three Aprilias locking out the front row.
But the Sprint winner put himself out of contention at the first corner, running wide and dropping into the midfield. Martin took the lead from P3 on the grid, but Bezzecchi fought back to retake P1 by the end of lap one.

Martin carried huge speed down the main straight to try and claim the lead, but he went in too deep and ran wide, losing positions to his teammate and Bagnaia. The Ducati rider also had impressive pace on the straight as he shot past Bezzecchi on lap three and into the lead.
Bagnaia began to bridge a bit of a gap, while teammate Marc Marquez duelled with his 2027 teammate Pedro Acosta for P4. The KTM rider got through on lap seven as Fermin Aldeguer soon entered the battle with his fellow compatriots.

Bezzecchi soon closed the gap to Bagnaia and piled on the pressure on his future teammate. The Aprilia rider eventually made his move with a late lunge into turn one on lap 14, regaining his lead.
Bagnaia had no response to the RS-GP, and on lap 16, Martin found his way through the Ducati rider to make it a factory Aprilia 1-2. Bezzecchi stormed away to claim his fourth win of the season ahead of his teammate, with Bagnaia taking the final podium narrowly ahead of Ai Ogura.
Marquez had to settle for seventh as he fell back behind Ogura, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Acosta on his MotoGP return.
