Brad Binder is under huge pressure to stay on the MotoGP grid in 2027, but fans absolutely believe that the South African rider will be in the premier class next year.
After a disappointing 2025 campaign, which saw Binder only finish in the top five twice and not outqualify his teammate Pedro Acosta at all, his form has not improved in 2026. Sitting 14th in the standings with 37 points, he is now looking set to leave KTM.
Fabio Di Giannantonio has signed with KTM alongside former Gresini teammate Alex Marquez. It leaves Binder out of the team and needing to find another seat for 2027, and his options are slowly dwindling.

Will Brad Binder be on the MotoGP grid in 2027?
Many think that the 2027 regulation changes will suit the 30-year-old: “2027 spec will hopefully suit Brad’s strengths,” commented one fan.
“Give him a proper bike, leave his riding style alone and get him a team mate like Jack Miller, and you’ll see fireworks again,” said another optimistic user.

Where will Brad Binder end up in 2027?
Binder is relaxed about his MotoGP future, but time is running out to secure a contract for the 2027 season.
Binder has been linked with Tech3, with KTM agreeing a deal to keep the French outfit as their satellite team for 2027. With Enea Bastianini set to join Trackhouse, a seat is open for the South African, but the likes of Manu Gonzalez and Senna Agius are also vying for it.
