Davide Brivio shares what strengths he admires about Aprilia and Ducati

Davide Brivio spoke on a YouTube livestream with Giovanni Zamagani, where he answered a number of fan questions after the Spanish Grand Prix.

When asked what qualities he would ‘steal’ from Aprilia and Ducati, Brivio pointed to Aprilia’s aerodynamics and Ducati’s vast experience and data.

“In my opinion, one of Aprilia’s strong points is aerodynamics, because there are some really good guys there and above all they have developed some very interesting simulation techniques.

“They’ve become a bit of a leader in this sector. So I don’t want to lose that.

“What would I steal from Ducati? I don’t know? The experience and the historical data that helps you to improve. The great experience and data they have.”

Trackhouse will be eager to fill their rider vacancies for next year

We learned recently that Ai Ogura would be leaving Trackhouse for Yamaha in 2027, leaving the team with the unfortunate task of recruiting a new rider for next season.

Fabio Di Giannantonio is an option for Trackhouse as a replacement for Ogura next season, as the Italian rider is currently facing frustration with VR46.

Moto2 star Izan Guevara is being eyed by Trackhouse as a potential replacement, as he has shown similar promise to Ogura.

Whoever Trackhouse choose to recruit for next season, he will have some big shoes to fill, considering how well Ogura and the team are doing this season.
