Jack Miller is making the most of being a MotoGP rider in 2025 and may have been the best rider on a Yamaha bike this year so far.
It may come as a surprise, but the Aussie has been impressive for Pramac and sitting 15th in the riders’ standings isn’t representative of his efforts.
Miller missed out on a good opportunity to score points at the Grand Prix of Qatar through illness and was off the pace all weekend.
Thankfully, he has 18 more MotoGP races this season to make up for it. The next event will be held at the Jerez circuit – a track he has enjoyed more success at than any other.
Miller prefers one aspect of his Pramac Yamaha to the bike he claimed two victories with at Ducati in 2022.
Before his best performance of the season at COTA, MotoGP fans saluted Miller for assisting colleague Fabio Quartararo before the start of the race, who had fallen. It’s just the type of human he is.

Jack Miller loves what Valentino Rossi just achieved at the Bathurst 12-hour race
Considering that Miller has just a one-year deal for the time being, he may find himself at risk of being ejected from the MotoGP grid at the end of 2025 again.
It’s up to him over what he wants to do next, but signing an extension with Pramac wouldn’t appear to be a bad idea. They’re working well together so far.
In an interview with Speedweek, he spoke about what he might do after his premier class career ends. While four events aren’t something he’s looking at, he does like the Bathurst circuit.
Ex-rival Valentino Rossi just finished second in a 12-hour race there as part of his endurance racing endeavours. He enjoys life behind the wheel,
“I’ve never raced in a car in my entire life – but I would do that too. I tested a super touring car once, years ago and that’s also in the mood, sure,” he said.
“Events in Australia like Bathurst are great, but I can say I’m not planning a car career.”

How long does Jack Miller want to ride in MotoGP for?
At the age of 30, Miller’s best years as a motorcycle rider may be behind him, but he still has plenty left to give.
Just a few months into his latest gig, and he already cannot imagine being anywhere else at this stage in his career.
“The fact that I am in the situation with Pramac and Yamaha gives me the opportunity to get the most out of myself,” he said. “I can’t imagine doing anything else right now.”
It’s clear that he has the hunger and appetite to continue for now. He will be hoping for a few more spectacular performances, much like he has already achieved at COTA this year.
