We would like to give a big well done from all us at MotoGPNews towers to Yamaha for breaking their long-standing 22 win-less streak record this weekend.
And what a way to do it! Beaten by at least one rider from every manufacturer…including the awful Aprilia.
We recognise the amount of effort Yamaha have put into achieving this – like how last year they changed a race-winning bike into a race-losing bike so it suited Rossi better. Or how they could have helped speed up testing by allowing Zarco a factory bike but were bullied into not doing this in case he embarrassed the factory riders.
23 races without a win is the biggest losing streak Yamaha have ever managed in their history – and it looks like there’s plenty more to come!
Well done again to all concerned.
