Guenther Steiner has claimed that ‘there’s no one else’ like Valentino Rossi in the history of MotoGP.
Rossi, 47, is widely considered one of the greatest riders in MotoGP history, having represented manufacturers like Honda, Ducati and Yamaha.
During what was an illustrious career, Rossi won seven world titles, winning five in a row from 2001 to 2005 before winning back-to-back championships in 2008 and 2009.
After retiring in 2021, Rossi ended his career with 89 wins, 199 podium finishes and 55 pole positions.
Aside from Rossi, the likes of Marc Marquez, Giacomo Agostini and Mick Doohan are also some of the greatest riders in the sport’s history.

Speaking recently to Italian news outlet Moto.IT, Steiner picked out Rossi as his MotoGP GOAT.
The 61-year-old, who is now involved with the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team, claimed that Rossi is like ‘no one else’.
Steiner said: “In motorcycles, for me, Valentino is Valentino. Of course, Márquez is also strong, he’s a phenomenon too, but I don’t consider Valentino just as a rider—he’s also a person, for his personality, for what he’s brought to MotoGP.
“In my opinion, there’s no one else.
“As for cars, right now there’s Max, who’s very strong and, in terms of character, is a true driver: now he’s at the 24 Hours of Le Mans because he wants to do it, not because he has to.
“In the past, obviously Senna—I’ve never met him, but what Ayrton Senna did is great.”

Steiner, who was team principal of the Haas F1 team before venturing into MotoGP, was asked to pick between the two major sports.
He replied: “They are both beautiful. It’s like when you have two children: you can’t tell which one is better and which is more beautiful. Formula 1 is a beautiful thing. For me, it’s all motorsport.
“Now, logically, we always look at Formula 1 and MotoGP because they are the highest level, one of motorcycles and one of cars, but there are many motorsport categories that are beautiful.
“I have fun in both. I’ve been doing it for forty years, it’s something that amuses me.”
