Guenther Steiner has named Marco Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez as the riders for his MotoGP dream team.

The 61-year-old has his feet firmly under the desk in MotoGP after taking over Tech3 in 2025. Having recently secured a new deal with KTM, Steiner is looking to have a successful spell in the premier class, having had experience in F1 and NASCAR.

Steiner has long been a fan of MotoGP and has spoken openly about his admiration for Marquez and his legacy in the sport. Therefore, it is no surprise to see the Ant of Cervera named in the Tech3 boss’ dream team.

Guenther Steiner names Marc Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi as his MotoGP dream team

Marquez is currently injured, with there being doubts over his availability for the Italian GP. In the Ducati rider’s absence, Aprilia have been leading the pack in 2026, with Bezzecchi top of the championship after the first six rounds.

The Italian is enjoying a brilliant run of form in MotoGP, and Steiner has named him as Marquez’s teammate for his ultimate dream line-up.

Asked who he would have if money were not a factor, he told MOW: “Definitely Marc Marquez, then Marco Bezzecchi, who’s doing very well at the moment. And then, as guys, they’re people, Marquez and Bezzecchi… it would be fun.”

Steiner did admit that Tech3 do not have the money, nor resources, to entice Marquez to join them, as he explained what he looks for in a rider.

“The first thing is talent,” he added. “That’s the most important thing. Then, obviously, it depends on the team you represent. You have to find the biggest talent out there who wants to join your team.

“And then you have to have the money to pay him, because, for example, if I were to make an offer to Marc Marquez here in MotoGP, I’d have two problems: he doesn’t want to come here because it’s not a factory team, and we don’t have the money to pay him.”

Multiple riders are in the frame to race for the French team, and there are already set to be changes. Enea Bastianini has agreed to join Trackhouse in 2027, with KTM not set to exercise a clause in his contract to keep him next season.
