In a shocking move, Ross Brawn has agreed to a role as an advisor to Pramac Racing, where he will work alongside Paolo Campinoti!
Brawn is one of the most successful figures in Formula 1 history, managing to win 11 constructors’ championships with iconic teams like Ferrari, Benetton, and even his own team, Brawn GP.
Following his various stints as a team boss, Brawn would join Formula 1’s management group, which would eventually become Liberty Media, where he served as a technical director.
What do you make of Ross Brawn joining Pramac?
This move is undoubtedly a big shock, as Brawn had seemingly walked away from all motorsport once he retired from his role with Liberty Media in 2022.

Ross Brawn could be latest sign of Liberty Media influence in MotoGP
Perhaps Pramac are trying to understand ways to curry favour with MotoGP’s ownership group, Liberty Media, by hiring Brawn as an advisor.

After all, it would make sense for them to hire someone who is intimately familiar with Liberty Media like Brawn, who can help them navigate the waters as MotoGP’s new owners look to make some big changes.
With Liberty Media’s latest bike limit proposal being panned by current and former riders as being too restrictive, there is a clear disconnect between the owners and the current members of MotoGP.
Perhaps hiring a figure like Brawn, even in an advisory capacity, could help Pramac understand how they can approach and queries and qualms with Liberty Media going forward.
