Marquez revealed his shocking MotoGP wage after leaving Honda in Austria. He didn’t receive a penny from Gresini to get on a Ducati.

Marquez hatched an unsuccessful plan with Ducati engineers before crashing out of qualifying in Spielberg. He wanted to match Bagnaia at a corner where he was faster, and it bit him hard.
He’s aware of the risks that the Red Bull Ring can pose, and gave a warning to Ducati teammate Fermin Aldeguer after hearing how hard he had been pushing at turn seven.
“He’s a rookie. He doesn’t know what the bike does yet! Fermin be careful,” he said, on Episode 13 of INSIDE Ducati.

Why Marc Marquez laughed at Fermin Aldeguer after the Austrian Grand Prix
Although Aldeguer took risks, his aggressive approach paid dividends at the end of the Austrian Grand Prix, as he ran Marquez close for victory.
Out of nowhere, he stormed past Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi and looked as though he might be on course for a maiden MotoGP win.
That was until Marquez found another gear and started to match his pace. He didn’t want to take any more risks than he had to.
After the race, Marquez could be seen laughing at Aldeguer’s efforts after one of his colleagues commented on his strong effort.
“Well done, Fermin, but not today,” commented a Ducati engineer, sparking Marquez’s laughter.
