Circuit of the Americas has been the home of the Grand Prix of the Americas since 2013, so MotoGP News has taken a look at which riders do well at and have won at the track.
Only a few riders have made it to the top step of the challenging track, which takes inspiration for its corners from some of the best racing circuits in the world.
This makes it a challenging feat for riders, as they must navigate the 3.4-mile circuit, which features a mix of high-speed corners, medium speed, and long straights.
In the last 11 years, there have been only two repeat winners, while Marc Marquez has been the dominant force, having racked up numerous victories. MotoGP did not run at the track in 2020 due to COVID, but returned for the 2021 season.

Marc Marquez is the most successful MotoGP rider at the Grand Prix of the Americas
Marquez is the most successful rider at the Grand Prix of the Americas, having won the race seven times while riding for Honda.
The six-time champion was unstoppable between 2013 and 2018, having finally been unseated by Alex Rins in 2019 after he crashed out of the race.
It is an impressive record for a single rider and is just four off the all-time record for a rider at a single circuit, set by Giacomo Agostini who won 10 times at the Tampere Circuit in Finland between 1965 and 1975.
After taking two wins so far in 2025, Marquez will be hoping to add an eighth to his tally, with this being the first time he could win without Honda power now that he is at Ducati.
The Grand Prix of the Americas has only seen three other winners other than Marc Marquez
There have only been three other winners of the Grand Prix of the Americas, with Alex Rins and Maverick Vinales previously taking victories, with Francesco Bagnaia claiming the 2025 win.
Marquez effectively dominated at the circuit for seven years, then took his last win at the track when they came back after COVID.
Vinales was the winner in 2024 having also won the Sprint race, while Marquez was on course for an eighth victory before he crashed out while leading the race.
Rins won in 2019 having duelled with Valentino Rossi for the win, following a crash for polesitter Francesco Bagnaia eight laps into the race.
