Marc Marquez has been an unstoppable force throughout the first two races of the 2025 MotoGP season.
Only his brother has been able to remain close to him on track, with both securing a one-two at the season-opener and the Argentina Grand Prix.
The six-time champion Marquez has managed to rediscover his old form and looks to be riding at the highest level he has for some time. Mistakes are not part of his repertoire anymore.
Ducati are the main beneficiary apart from himself. They look set to dominate their way to yet another championship in 2025.
Francesco Bagnaia must enter a ‘different dimension’ to beat Marquez this season, according to his father.
The two-time champion has struggled to get to grips with the GP25 bike and has already lost lots of ground in the title fight. Bagnaia is aware that he needs answers soon.

Davide Tardozzi expects Marc Marquez to face ‘true test’ from MotoGP rivals
Speaking to AS, Ducati boss Davide Tardozzi has fired a warning to Marquez, who has had things relatively easy so far.
“I’ve already told you that when Marc Márquez is in form, he’s Marc Márquez. And I think Marc is very mature right now and thinks beautifully,” he said.
“He’s won eight world championships, but he’s also made a lot of mistakes, and today he’s riding as strong as when he won his world championships, but without making any mistakes.
“The true test of him will be given this year by Jorge Martín when he’s at full capacity, and also by Pecco, who will be strong again.”
The bad news for his rivals is that the upcoming Grand Prix of the Americas is one of his strongest circuits. He won six times in a row between 2013 and 2018 and has seven victories in total.
With the reigning champion not set to return until next month and Bagnaia facing him at one of his best tracks, there may be more pain to come for his rivals before they can peg him back.

Davide Tardozzi issues worrying verdict on when Francesco Bagnaia will be able to fight Marc Marquez
Despite the criticisms of Bagnaia, 2025 has statistically been his best-ever start to a season. He needs to aim higher than third place though.
The Italian could yet return to last year’s bike in a bid to regain some confidence and find some more time on his bike.
Tardozzi expects Bagnaia to fight Marquez in Qatar, but there is a chance that the championship gap will be nearly 50 points by then.
Thankfully, there are still 20 MotoGP races to go this season, but already significant pressure has been applied to the one rider who was expected to offer Marquez his biggest challenge this year.
The Spaniard has taken four wins from four races so far. Who and what is going to stop him from making it 44/44?
