Savadori was introduced to motorbike racing by his father and went on to take up racing in junior categories, before being picked to participate in the MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2007.

In 2016 he moved to World Superbikes and was regularly finished in the top five positions, and in 2019 he rode in the MotoE World Cup for Gresini Racing.

For the 2020 season, he would get his debut in MotoGP on an Aprilia bike at Gresini, replacing Bradley Smith for the final three rounds of the season starting at the European Grand Prix.

Savadori would fail to finish two of the three races he contested with the team, but his performances were good enough for him to earn a further nine outings in 2021.

His role was scaled back to test rider in subsequent seasons, with him being chosen in 2023 to replace the injured Miguel Oliveira for three races. In 2024 he participated in three races for Aprilia and four for Trackhouse Racing as a wildcard entry.

For the 2025 season, he will continue this role for Aprilia and will take part in the opening round of the season in Thailand, replacing Jorge Martin, who was injured in pre-season testing.
