Trackhouse sponsors want to retain Fernandez for next season amid speculation that Enea Bastianini and Luca Marini would be joining the team.
The Spaniard has been delivering some impressive performances in recent months, winning two Sprint races thus far in 2026. Fernandez won the Sprint at Assen and finished second on Sunday in what was two Trackhouse 1-2 finishes.

Fernandez is linked with KTM Tech3 for 2027, but Trackhouse remain a strong option. However, as per a report from Speedweek, there is a condition to their interest.
A ‘reliable source’ has stated that Trackhouse have offered Fernandez a contract, but only for 2027. They have tabled a one-year deal as opposed to the usual two-year deal that teams offer riders during contract cycles.

Raul Fernandez wants to stay at Trackhouse until 2028
Amid the links to Tech3, Fernandez has made it clear that he wishes to stay with Trackhouse. After the Dutch GP, he told Motorsport Espana that he wants to remain with the Aprilia satellite team until 2028.
Asked if he had a contract lined up for 2027, he said: “No, not at the moment, but as I said yesterday, talks with Trackhouse are going well.
“When I joined the team, we were fighting for very low positions, and now we’re second, fighting for podiums in every race. I’m very happy to be able to grow with Trackhouse, and hopefully it will be for the next two years.”
