Marc Marquez has clinched his second win of 2026 as he beat Ai Ogura to win the Czech Grand Prix.
The Ducati rider beat the Trackhouse star in a tense battle at the front. Francesco Bagnaia completed the podium at Brno, fending off Fabio Di Giannantonio.
The Czech Grand Prix already saw controversy before it started, as championship leader Marco Bezzecchi was suspended from the race after hitting a marshal following a crash in the Sprint. Aprilia would have wanted to silence the noise with a victory for Ogura.

The Trackhouse rider got a good start off the line, while it was all action behind him. Marquez moved up to second as Fabio Di Giannantonio dropped back, before Bagnaia got past his teammate for P2.
On lap two, Ogura could not hold off the Ducatis, as Bagnaia took the lead and Marquez came through for second. The red Desmosedicis soon pulled away as the former searched for his first Grand Prix win of the season.
What are your thoughts on Marco Bezzecchi being BANNED from the Czech GP?
Bezzecchi struck a marshal after crashing out of the Sprint
Marquez kept up the pressure on his teammate, remaining under a second behind Bagnaia for most of the race, while Ogura waited in the wings in third. The Sprint winner kept a strong pace, but the 2025 champion was pushing for the lead.
Sure enough, on lap 16, Marquez made the move at turn four and claimed the lead. Bagnaia had no response and was soon under pressure from Ogura. The Japanese rider got the move done with five laps to go, moving into P2.
The Trackhouse rider pushed at the end to grab his maiden MotoGP win, showing again how strong he is in the final stages. But it wasn’t to be, as Marquez claimed his second win of 2026 ahead of Ogura, with Bagnaia in third.
