Nicolo Bulega’s manager, Alberto Martinelli, has confirmed that he will sit down with Trackhouse boss Davide Brivio over a seat with the team in 2027.
The Ducati World Superbikes star wants to join the MotoGP grid next season, and he is exploring multiple avenues as a seat with the Borgo Panigale outfit looks unlikely.
His options with the manufacturer are limited, with the factory team already filled for 2027. VR46 are keeping Fabio Di Giannantonio and signing Fermin Aldeguer, while Gresini want ‘nothing’ to do with Bulega as they look at Daniel Holgado and Enea Bastianini.
You’re Nicolo Bulega: Where would YOU go if you cannot join Ducati in MotoGP in 2027?
Ducati want to keep Bulega in WSBK, but the Italian is eager to join the premier class. He is now looking at rival manufacturers and teams for 2027.
It was suggested that Bulega could join Trackhouse next year, with Ai Ogura moving to Yamaha. Now, his manager, Martinelli, has confirmed that such links are concrete.

Nicolo Bulega will speak with Trackhouse at the Spanish Grand Prix
With the MotoGP rider market moving incredibly fast and most seats being filled already, Bulega needs to act fast if he wants to land a seat for 2027.
Speaking to GPOne, Martinelli confirmed that the Italian is talking to multiple rivals at the Spanish Grand Prix this week. Among them is Aprilia, with Bulega set to hold talks with Trackhouse boss Davide Brivio.
Asked if Trackhouse is an option, Martinelli said: “Certainly, yes, we’re discussing it, we’re currently having meetings at Jerez, including with Aprilia and Brivio.
“We understand that they’re also talking to other riders, quite rightly, because everyone’s talking to everyone at the moment, and why not?
“Of course, today Aprilia is proving its worth and here we are, in short, I mean, we’re not ruling anyone out.”

Aprilia want to sign Nicolo Bulega for 2027
Bulega needs to keep his options open if he wants to get on the MotoGP grid next year. Ducati have seemingly slammed the door on him for 2027, and he does not want to be riding in Superbikes much longer.
Right now, Aprilia are the bike to beat in 2026, with Marco Bezzecchi winning every race thus far. It is an attractive project, and with Trackhouse performing strongly at the front, it makes a great fit for Bulega.
Who is going to win the Spanish Grand Prix?
And let us know why in the comments!
In fact, Aprilia director Fabiano Sterlacchini approves of Trackhouse signing Bulega. The American team are yet to confirm any of their riders for 2027, with Raul Fernandez out of contract this year.
With Ogura gone, the Spaniard could be more likely to keep his seat. However, Fernandez is wanted by Ducati in WSBK, marking what could be a straight swap with Bulega.
