Ducati have revealed the livery for their Desmosedici GP26 ahead of the 2026 MotoGP season.
The defending champions are the fourth team to unveil their new design after Pramac, VR46 and Aprilia. For 2026, Ducati have opted for a retro look to celebrate an incredible milestone.
What do you think about Ducati’s 2026 MotoGP livery?
This season marks Ducati’s 100th anniversary, and to celebrate, the Borgo Panigale outfit have brought back their white stripes to the GP26, with a matte red colour.
Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia took the covers off their bikes at the team’s presentation at Madonna di Campiglio. They will hope the machine will guide them to glory in 2026, with the former on the verge of equalling Giacomo Agostini’s eight MotoGP titles.

MotoGP fans are loving Ducati’s special livery for the 2026 season
Marquez and Bagnaia sat on top of their bikes during Ducati’s presentation. CEO Claudio Domenicali, chief designer Luigi Dall’Igna, team manager Davide Tardozzi and test rider Michele Pirro were among several key figures in attendance.
Ducati shared images of the GP26’s livery on X (formerly Twitter). Fans flooded the comments as they expressed their love for the special design.
“Ohhhhh that’s a sexy motorbike,” wrote one fan, while another added: “OH THEY COOKED.”
One user had just one word for Ducati’s new bike, as they wrote: “Beauty.” Another quoted the post, saying: “I love it.”
Some fans were expecting more from the livery, however, as one said: “Not much has changed, IMO. But it’s so prettyyy”. Another wrote: “Ahh, I thought it would be similar to the Capirossi-Bayliss era, but this is still cool.”

What is the mood like at Ducati ahead of 2026?
Ducati’s riders come into the 2026 season in different situations. Marquez is looking to continue where he left off after his injury in Mandalika, while Bagnaia is desperate to improve his fortunes.
Marquez was riding in ‘a completely different discipline’ in 2025, says Franco Morbidelli. He won 11 Grand Prix and 14 Sprints on his way to his seventh MotoGP title.
Not much is expected to change in 2026, with the Spaniard being the clear favourite. Marquez is back in testing after recovering from his shoulder injury and will be looking to start his title defence in fine style.
Meanwhile, Bagnaia is hoping that the GP26 will be more suited to his riding style after desperately struggling on the GP25. He finished fifth in the standings in 2025 with just two races, retiring from six of the last seven races.
Bagnaia felt he could have done more to adapt to the bike last season. But 2026 presents a fresh start, and the Italian could return to form on the GP26.
