Round 20 of the 2025 MotoGP season will get underway this weekend at the Grand Prix of Malaysia. Here’s everything you need to know, including full timings and how to watch.

Raul Fernandez claimed his maiden MotoGP victory last weekend out at the Australian Grand Prix, after crossing the line 1.418 seconds ahead of Fabio di Giannantonio.

His impressive win means that 18 full-time riders on the grid have now won a MotoGP grand prix, the most in history. Fernandez’s win for the Trackhouse MotoGP team means that every team on the grid have now won a race in the modern era.

Marco Bezzecchi was forced to serve a double long lap penalty for his crash with Marc Marquez in Indonesia, dropping the Aprilia Racing rider from his second place start down to third.

His crash with Marquez two races before saw the Spaniard forced to miss the Australian Grand Prix, and left his 2025 future uncertain after sustaining a shoulder injury.

Marquez will miss this weekend’s Grand Prix of Malaysia, with test rider Michele Pirro replacing him for the second race in a row.

The 2025 MotoGP Grand Prix of Malaysia is set to take place between the 24th and 26th of October 2025. The main race will start at 3pm track time on Sunday 26 October and will last 20 laps.

The Sprint race is scheduled for Saturday 25 October, also at 3pm track time and will run half the race distance, which will be 10 laps overall.
