Jake Dixon has revealed the most memorable moments of his eight-year career in Moto2 ahead of his expected departure for the World Superbike Championship in 2026.

Dixon currently finds himself in fifth place in the 2025 Moto2 riders’ standings as the lead rider on a Boscoscuro bike.

He made the move from Kalex to Boscoscuro at the end of the 2024 season, and Dixon could be jumping to Honda for the World Superbike Championship next season.

A seat with Honda in WSBK looks like the more likely option for him following Dixon’s links with replacing Jorge Martin at Aprilia during his spat with the team.

During a quickfire interview with TNT Sports, Dixon was asked about the best and worst moments of his career in Grand Prix motorcycle racing.

Jake Dixon isn’t proud of his actions during the 2023 British Grand Prix weekend

On his worst moment, he stated, “Probably Silverstone when I got took out and did the rant on TV.” Dixon is referring to his incident with Darryn Binder that took place during the Moto2 race at Silverstone in 2023.

The British rider was furious with Binder following his early retirement, fuming via TNT Sports, “Sometimes I don’t understand what this guy [Binder] is doing. He can clearly see that I am past him. Use your brain, I am faster than you. I am going to pull us forward.

“Don’t ram me because you’re going to listen to this, you have ruined my Championship. You ruin everyone’s Championship, mate. You are an absolute idiot. I’m absolutely raging because we put so much hard work in.

“I made a mistake yesterday, but he is just an absolute clown. I am sick to death of it, mate. When you are around people like him, it is just… ban him! Ban him because it is stupid.”

Jake Dixon issued an apology to Darryn Binder for his words in Silverstone ‘rant’

Ahead of the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix, Dixon spoke again with TNT after having time to cool off and reflect on the incident. The Brit was apologetic about the way he went about expressing himself in Silverstone, saying, “Silverstone was not ideal.

“First of all, I want to apologise to Darryn Binder for my words because they were not on, and I just did not do it in the correct way.

“I didn’t want to talk at the time, and I want to apologise to him and his team because I was outspoken on that, and it was not good and it didn’t look good either. So, first of all, sorry on that.”

The issue was considered settled after Dixon’s apology, and they are both still competing against each other this season in Moto2.

With this season set to be Dixon’s last in this category of motorcycle racing, Honda has yet to decide on who their rider pairing for the 2026 WBSK season will be. Reports have tipped Jack Miller to partner Dixon, if both of their respective deals manage to get over the line with the Japanese team.
