It’s been three weeks since we last raised a mechanically separated grilled offal product and fell asleep watching the COTA race. Here’s a recap:
So who’ll win in Misano?
If only we had some kind of way to make a predictions…oh wait…we had the exact same race 2 races ago. Cleverly Dorna decided to insert a fly away race to the USA between the two rounds at the exact same track just to stick the middle finger to Coldplay. Something we fully endorse.
In the first San Marino GP last month it was Pecco Bananas that dominated proceedings guided by some telepathic skills from the Dentist. The Italian needs to beat Quartarararo to keep his championship hopes alive. Realistically though the championship trophy is already stinking of garlic – the best thing Pecco can do is get his head down and go for the win.
So will Quartarararo win? Tough one. The likeable yet French rider will be keen to secure his and France’s first MotoGP championship. Will he risk the win? Or just try to beat Bagnaia?
Last time race winner Marc Marquez is slowly getting stronger. ‘Slowly’ being the operative word. The Spanish Antichrist had admitted this week that his recovery is taking longer than he hoped…yet a lot faster than the yellow fans prayed for. However the hated Honda rider is getting better and came fourth here last time out. Surely a win isn’t impossible?
Finally we have Valentino ‘The Dentist’ Rossi competing in his last ever MotoGP race in Italy. Could this be a majestic final podium for the outgoing legend? Maybe even a win? Pretty unlikely but stranger things have happened…not that we can think of any off hand.
