I don't believe either outclass the competition like Rossi has, who is the next three crown champion? Or is it neither of these two guys? I'd call them even at this point.

It's said "every great champion has his own hated rival".
Lorenzo hasn't won a championship yet but at least he has Rossi, at least for a couple years.
With the Lorenzo to Ducati rumor, I guess Stoner has a rival to spur him on.
Time will tell. But who really believes one of these two could win 3 championships.
Is Rossi retiring after this year then maybe?

I have it on good authority that Vale's going to Ducati to finish his career when they return to the 1000's. So far, my source, had not been wrong. We'll see. He's personal fs a personal friend with Bad Max and knows many in the business side of the sport. There will be a major reshuffle when they go back to 1000's. I have Rossi picked to win the title this year then jump. He'll want to get that 10th Championship despite thoughts contrary.

I recon Lorenzo is the better racer, as in overtaking and beating people up, however I think once you show Stoner an empty track ahead he will be the quicker man (not counting 2010). I think Rossi should also carry on for a few more ears before retiring, I mean he's what 32? Gotta be good for at least another 4 years.

Mladin would destroy them all. He just liked living and racing in the land of the free, not the land of communists.

Both are blindingly quick but Lorenzo probably edges it because he is the pretty much the only rider (other than Rossi) to make 800cc motorbikes exciting. Both Jorge and Casey can lead from the front and grind out fastest lap after fastest lap but Lorenzo is able to cut through traffic and overtake almost anywhere in a way that only an on-form Rossi can match wheras Stoner seems to struggle to get through the field when he gets a bad start. In his defence the Ducati seems v. average this year.
